What are Vaya’s return policies?
The Vaya mattress comes with a 100-night sleep trial. If you decide your mattress isn’t right for your sleep needs during the trial period, just give us a call and we will initiate a refund.
We only ask that you at least try your Vaya mattress at home for 30 nights (through the duration of the average adjustment period). That way, you are able to fully adjust to your new mattress and can determine if it is the best fit for your sleep needs.
If you’re returning a Vaya mattress, we ask you please donate your item(s) on behalf of Vaya Sleep to a local charity or donation center in your area that offers a donation receipt. We also ask that you select an organization that will be giving the items to an individual or family in need (as opposed to organizations that might resell the product).
Please note: Mattresses returned before the 30-day mark are subject to a $99 early processing fee.
All other non-mattress items including the pillow and platform bed are final sale, non-returnable, and ineligible for the sleep trial.
What’s the return process for the Vaya mattress?
If you find your Vaya mattress doesn’t fit your sleep needs, please give us a call at (888) 430-6608 and we can initiate the return process. Instead of asking you to send the mattress back to us, we ask you please donate your item(s) on behalf of Vaya Sleep to a local charity or donation center in your area that offers a donation receipt. We also ask that you select an organization that will be giving the items to an individual or family in need (as opposed to organizations that might resell the product). We’ll share exact instructions over email but after completing the process, we will process your refund.
Please note: Mattresses returned or exchanged before the 30-night mark are subject to a $99 early processing fee. To waive this fee, we require customers to sleep on their mattress for at least 30 nights.
Is shipping free? What about returns?
We offer free shipping for all mattresses and pillows delivered within the lower 48 states. For orders to Hawaii, Alaska, Mexico, Canada, and all other countries, customers will need to coordinate with a freight forwarding company based in the continental U.S. and cover those shipping costs.
Where can I try these products? Are you available in retail stores?
We are an online-only brand, but we do offer a 100-night, risk-free sleep trial so our customers can buy online and test any Vaya mattress in the comfort of their own homes. The sleep trial doesn’t begin until the mattress is dropped off at your doorstep. If you decide your mattress isn’t a perfect fit for your sleep needs, returns after your first 30 nights are free and easy.
Do I need to keep any of the shipping boxes?
No need! If you decide to return your Vaya mattress, we ask that you donate your item(s) on behalf of Vaya Sleep to a local charity or donation center in your area that offers a donation receipt so you won’t need to re-box it and send it back to us.
What if I ordered the wrong mattress size?
If you need a different size mattress, give us a call and let us know your preferred size. We’ll get the order modified for you. If you receive the wrong size mattress when it arrives at your doorstep, please leave it unopened and store it in a safe place so we can arrange for it to be picked back up.
How long will it take for my order to arrive?
Since we generally manufacture our mattresses as orders come in, your mattress will ship 3 to 5 business days after you place your order. We ship via FedEx and it usually delivers within 1 to 5 business days. FedEx will drop your package at your doorstep (or wherever you usually receive FedEx packages).
Will I have to sign for the package?
Nope! Our mattresses and pillows do not require a signature for delivery.
